Omaha Mavericks

The Omaha Mavericks Men’s Ice Hockey team, also known as the Nebraska Omaha Mavericks or the UNO Mavericks, is a Division I college ice hockey program. They represent the University of Nebraska Omaha and play as a member of the National Collegiate Hockey Conference (NCHC). They play their home games out of the Baxter Arena since it opened in 2015.

The program began in 1997 and has since qualified for the NCAA tournament on four occasions. During their 2015 tournament run, the team made their first appearance in the tournament semifinals, branded by the NCAA as a part of the Frozen Four.
